Our Policies

Any tutor with Magistra Mea will have received enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training to ensure client safety. If you wish to see a tutor’s certificates, please ask them to send you copies via email.

For clients under 18, it is requested that a parent or guardian sit-in on the getting-to-know you session, and any communication and/or online links to the digital classroom will be shared to both client and parent email addresses; parents or guardians are welcome to sit-in and observe at any time.

For online tutoring, a new classroom link will be generated each session.

It is preferred that payment for paid sessions is made by BACS transfer prior to the session beginning. You may choose to pay session-by-session or up-front for a series of sessions. Sessions will not continue if payments are not up-to-date.

A 24 hour cancellation policy is in place. We understand that there are sometimes unavoidable absences. Let us know 24 hours in advance of your session, and we will attempt to reschedule. If you let us know within 24 hours, your session may not be rescheduled and you may still be charged.
